Windows 10 Mobile OS Gets an Updated Version of Instagram

Over the last few years, with the boom of social media, there have been many names which have been gaining a major edge into the market.

One of these names is that of Facebook owned Instagram, as the company has been gaining a massive goodwill for itself over the years. A Facebook owned business, Instagram has become one of the largest image sharing social media platforms. Instagram has become so popular in recent times that it has almost become a habit.

While you’re on travel, or while you’re having dinner, or while gymming, or even while working, clicking pictures and posting them on the Instagram platform has become a major trend of recent times.
Instagram has been achieving a lot these days, and it had recently crossed 400 million users. The app has been growing at a rapid rate, and has been changing focus towards more of advertising and video based content too.

Instagram has been present across all platforms, but its presence on the Windows Phone devices was rather weak and even weaker when one looks at the Windows 10 Mobile OS platform.
The Windows 10 Mobile OS, which was introduced by the company last year, and rolled out on a few devices since then, has now been booming into the markets.  The company has recently released the Windows 10 Mobile OS update for a lot of their existing Lumia devices, and the list has now grown by manifold.

The latest update for Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile OS devices brings out many much needed changes in the way things happen in Instagram. One of the biggest improvements was visible in the live tile of Instagram, which is now a much better looking blue colored tile instead of the older one which was a rather odd looking black tile.
  • Video View Counts on Instagram
  • Add and Switch Between Multiple Accounts
  • Shortcuts for Viewing Photos, Videos and More
  • Improvements to the Boomerang App
  • Introducing Boomerang from Instagram: A New Video App
This update comes out as a universal app, and Microsoft has been emphasizing the developers to release more of these kinds of apps. This update comes in the light of Microsoft losing out two major apps from their platform – Spotify and HERE maps.
Update your Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile OS to the latest version 7.17.0 today!
