50 Cent swears his social media cash isn't real

Those social media posts featuring stacks of cash are coming back to bite 50 Cent.

A bankruptcy court judge has ordered the rapper to appear at a Wednesday hearing in Hartford, Conn., to explain his Instagram photos, one of which features the word "BROKE" spelled out in stacks of cash.

50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson III, entered a court filing Tuesday stipulating that he used prop money and is not hiding assets. He filed for bankruptcy protection last year following a New York jury verdict that awarded $7 million to a woman who said he'd published their sex tape.

The U.S. trustee’s office is asking Judge Ann Nevins to appoint an examiner to review the rapper’s assets.
